Clear2Pay rings up The Writing Workshop to help their sales team bring clarity to a complex world of payment transactions.
Clear2Pay Americas recently hosted a one-day Persuasive Writing Workshop for their North America sales team. The group of 14 high-level sales pros gathered for an intensive 2-day off-site in Charlotte North Carolina.
Clear2Pay provides high-level financial services technology and consulting. Their sales team is called on to conduct extensive needs analyses and present detailed proposals and live presentations showing the benefits their solutions provide.
“This was a great way to evaluate my effectiveness in communication, both written and spoken,” said Clear2Pay Sales Manager Doug Gross.
Since their sales team often works together on large projects, they recognized the value of a consistent way to plan their writing and communicate clearly and persuasively.
“John gave us a fresh perspective,” said Chris Babcock. “He taught us how to give the whole company a common understanding, with a focus on the need to think and plan before we write.”
John Sturtevant’s Persuasive Writing Training uses Accelerated Learning techniques to engage participants and make the content relevant, meaningful, and useful.
Clear2Pay’s Keith McAfee felt the benefits of that approach. “This is a great course,” he said. “John is a very good presenter, he engaged with the group on a personal level and made excellent use of real examples.”
John Sturtevant also provided a series of 1-on-1 Clear Writing Sessions after the workshop to help the sales team apply their new skills to actual projects they’re working on.
“It was just what I was looking for,” said Matt Ellis Vice President & Managing Director Clear2Pay Americas. “John did a great job.”
