Houston Airport Systems lands a series of Persuasive Writing Workshops for its operations staff.
The Houston Airport System has signed a contract with John Sturtevant to provide on-going Persuasive Writing Training for its 1600 employees.
HAS employees who attended the most recent Persuasive Writing workshop represented a variety of departments within the organization including Public Safety, Technical Services, Office of the Director, and Administration.
Clear writing is an essential business skill.
Although the attendees are responsible for all aspects of operations from financial reporting to mechanical repairs, the clear thinking and persuasive writing concepts and techniques they learned were relevant, meaningful, and useful to everyone.
John W. Klein, Airport Superintendent at Intercontinental Airport says he keeps the Persuasive Business Writing workbook with him as he plans and writes on the job, and even during on the Masters classes he’s taking. Klein says, “The workbook easy to use, and loaded with great ideas.”
Felipe Avila, Manager of Public Safety knows the Business Writing tips he learned will make a big difference in how he communicates with management and co-workers. Mr. Avila said, “It was educational and entertaining…the best course I have ever had in my career!”
John Sturtevant will present full-day Persuasive Writing Training over the next year to give all Houston Airport Systems employees the confidence and skills they need to think clearly, and communicate effectively.
And that, says Superintendent Klein is exactly what HAS needs. In fact, Mr. Klein recommends John Sturtevant's workshops to anyone in business. He tells his friends and colleagues: “Take this workshop if you are serious about being a good writer.”
