John Sturtevant presents another in a series of business writing workshops for Total Petrochemical.
Employees from throughout Total Petrochemical’s Houston operations recently participated in a full-day business writing workshop. Attendees included accountants, chemists, marketing staff, researchers, and administrators.
Total’s Sandra Martin said the workshop was the first she’s had that taught her to focus on making sense in her writing. “This is a great workshop,” she said. “Everyone here should take it.”
“It was definitely NOT boring!” said Lorraine Jones, accountant. “I appreciate John’s organization of writing methods. I am already using what I learned…active voice!”
“This was a great class,” said Tonya Thornton, Training & Development Staff Assistant. “I learned how to think clearly and write what I mean so others can understand my ideas. It seems so obvious now, but like most people, I struggled with that.”
Headquartered in Brussels, Total Petrochemicals is the world’s fifth largest petrochemicals producer.
